OUR CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY DESIRES TO BRING THE LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST TO THE MUSLIM WORLD

I, Kumar, come from a rural village in southern India. It is a forested community, home to approximately 30,000 people.  Typical houses are constructed of mud floors, clay walls and cement roofs.  The primary ethnic group is the Lambada Tribe and the most commonly spoken language is Telugu.

I came to know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of my soul when my schoolmate told me. I eventually accepted Christ as my personal Savior. I am the only Christian in my family.  My mother and father are Hindus. They did not accept me as I embraced Christ as my Savior, so my parents do not help me in any way in my education or other means.  My father and mother are unemployed but some days work as day laborers.  One of my friends who is a Christian told me about Shaliach’s Bible College. I approached them and they accepted me as a student and I am very grateful for this opportunity to study here.

In my home town, we are surrounded by Hindus and Muslims and after coming to Shaliach’s Bible College I also got the opportunity to understand Islam and knowing the urgent need to evangelize Muslims well touched me.

My future goal is to become a pastor and work in my community. I request your prayer for guidance and help as I study here.

Please consider supporting the New Hope Mission Society as we work to continue the Great Commission of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

The Missions we support are in areas that could result in deadly consequences for their “Christian ” affiliation. We have chosen to protect identities and we sincerely hope you understand.
